SUMMARY:National Wildlife Week - Day 3
DESCRIPTION:Southeast Manitoba’s tall-grass prairie natural area is home to 28 species at risk in seven different categories. We’ll profile one each day of National Wildlife Week. \nToday\, we’ll share identification and habitat information\, along with an interesting fact\, about the 14 birds that are endangered in our region. The range of different types of birds might be a surprise: from the eastern whip-poor-will with its unmistakable call to the least bittern\, the smallest heron in Manitoba\, and the sweet little golden winged warbler.
